nice things in the mail

When I got home yesterday I found this loveliness waiting in a box from amazon.com.

It is a wonderful book and I wanted to drop everything and make my own altered house book, but I was restrained and just spent about an hour poring over it from cover to cover. It's delightful and I recommend it for anyone interested in altered stuff.

Thanks to those who have already offered to swap me out of sympathy for my blueness, which has eased somewhat today. If you'd like to swap you have until May 10 to tell me so. See yesterday's post for more details and if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.

Happy Thursday, everyone.

Glad you are feeling better today, get days like that myself. Jinny's fish not handmade just a fish she had in a goody bag swap. the photo did not do it justice. Thanks for email. will think of something??
Have a look at www.amstamps.com/ for tuturials on the discs/cd's etc. Have a good day and enjoy your book.

Sorry you weren't feeling great yesterday. I love your new book - something nice in the mail never fails to cheer me up!

Although I'd love to join your swap I'd better not, as I'm a bit all over the place right now!! It'll be great to see what everyone makes :)

Hey Susan - I have that book, too! And I'm glad you're feeling better. You are quite right, though, making something is always a cure for the blues. I would like to play, please. And I've started, so I know I can do something (that was the thing really, I wondered if I'd lost it, whatever it is!).xx
